Stephanie Singleton is responsible for Singleton Associates' administrative and business development activities. She is also responsible for the development of the firm's new Chinese language training initiatives.
Prior to joining Singleton Associates, Ms. Singleton was a Consultant for Mercer Human Resource Consulting in Beijing, China, where she was active in the firm’s Performance, Measurement and Rewards, and Global Information Services practices. Her assignments included the evaluation of numerous employee benefit programs and due diligence engagements for multinational corporations operating in China. Her consulting clients included Shell, Kerr McGee, ConocoPhillips, Total, British Petroleum, Schlumberger, CNOOC, HiSense, Emerson, Kraft, Effem, Phillip Morris, Energizer, Lucent, Maersk and DaimlerChrysler.
Ms. Singleton was responsible for Mercer’s Global Information Services practice in the Chemical, Petroleum, and Consumer industries in Beijing, and for all industries in the firm’s GIS practice in Qingdao, as well as Mercer China’s Statutory Benefits. She was also active in the firm’s business development activities, and was responsible for the firm’s significant growth in its client base in the growing Qingdao market.
Ms. Singleton also has extensive HR experience with China Entercom Corporation in Beijing, where she was Manager of the Human Resources Department. She also worked in the International Settlement Department of Bank of China, China’s leading financial institution, where she gained significant experience in China’s banking industry.
Ms. Singleton works closely with SHRM to develop its training materials for China. She is also a member of SHRM’s Business Advisory Council, established to advise SHRM during its entrance into the Chinese market.
Stephanie Singleton holds a MBA degree from Fordham University/Peking University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Qingdao University. She is certified as a Global Professional in Human Resources (GPHR) by the Human Resource Certification Institute. She has also participated in numerous human resource and financial training programs, including those offered in China by Bloomberg and Reuters.
